What Is HISD Connect?HISD Connect (Parent Portal) / Log In to HISD Connect

HISD Connect (powered by PowerSchool) is Houston ISD’s Student Information System (SIS) parent portal. It centralizes essential student data—contact details, enrollment, demographics, attendance, class schedules, grades, and school resources. Parents can also receive alerts for low grades, absences, or tardiness.


How to Access HISD Connect

  1. Obtain your access credentials
    • Your child’s school will send—or can provide on request—the Access ID and Access Password for each student. 
  2. Create your Parent Account
    • Visit the HISD Connect portal via the district website.
    • Click “Create an Account” and fill in your details (name, email/username, and a secure password).
    • Link each child by entering their Access ID, Access Password, student name, and your relationship to them. 
    • You can link up to seven students to a single account.
  3. Log in and Explore
    • Use your username and password to sign in.
    • You’ll be able to: view attendance, grades, schedules, progress reports, report cards, classroom assignments, complete forms, and communicate with teachers.
  4. Troubleshoot & Get Help
    • If you haven’t received account credentials—or run into login issues—contact the school registrar or information representative for your campus.
    • For technical support, call the HISD Help Desk at 713‑892‑7378 or email ServiceDesk@houstonisd.org, Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5 PM.
